「Quick Japan」でも、赤田祐一にだまされて、やりたくもないことをいろいろやっていた。 思い出したくもないが、サニーデイ・サービスの曽我部恵一くんとの対談は世間では名作だとされている。あれはひどい。 本当に曽我部くんに悪いことをしたと思っている。『ボクのブンブン分泌業』に入れようとしたら、許諾が下りなかったぐらいの名作である。 フォークについて語れといわれたけど、まったく無視。僕の性格の悪さが全部出ている。 呼び出されて、何か芸やれ、みたいな依頼が本当に不快で、頭に来ていたのだ。

あんな雑誌でやっていたら、どうしてもサブカルの人といわれる。仕方のないことだけれど、全く無自覚だった。「Quick Japan」は、創刊の頃から本当に下らない雑誌だと思っていて、ある時期から二度と仕事しない、という関係になった。
